Riverside Cottages - a family business.
Luxury self catering holiday cottages, Yorkshire Dales.
All the holiday cottages and the park are within striking distance of the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire and the Lakes
Riverside Cottages are owned and run by the Marshall Family and share a fanstastic location near Riverside Caravan Park which they also run.
Time to relax
This secluded spot on the banks of the river Wenning in High Bentham, North Yorkshire makes an ideal location for a short or extended break and corporate meetings, these high quality barn conversions. t is truly an unspoilt and delightful part of the countryside and within walking distance of the market town.
The Cottages
The two luxury cottages have been sympathetically converted from a large stone barn and have retained many original features, such as exposed beams and feature stone fire places. The rooms are well proportioned and the properties are furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Woodside and Parkside may be booked together to accommodate 14 people as they have interconnecting fire doors on both floors, an ideal venue for family get-togethers or celebrations as well as being suitable for a small conference or brain storming centre. Catering can also be arranged.
Both properties possess full oil fired central heating systems, double glazing, open fires in sitting rooms (first basket of logs and scuttle of coal provided free, further supplies can be purchased). All oil and electric used is included in the rental price.
All duvets and bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are provided and included in the price. Lounges have colour digital televisions with freeview and DVD player.
Each kitchen is fully fitted with full size fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Cots and highchairs are available, a toy box is provided in the lounge.
Individual gardens with garden furniture and washing line.
There is ample parking. We have our own water supply from a borehole which is filtered and treated to EEC standards.

Riverside Caravan Park is a secluded Park on the banks of the River Wenning, set in an unspoilt and delightful part of the countryside - yet within walking distance of the town.
The Park has been owned and managed by the Marshall family since it's development from a green field site over thirty years ago. The sheltered level setting straddling the banks of the River Wenning is truly superb, screened by trees and natural hillsides with excellent walks along the riverbank and in the surrounding countryside.
For the more adventurous walkers there are the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent. Facilities are provided for holiday home owners, touring caravans,motorhomes and trailer tents.
We are a member of the BH & HPA. Our site is annually inspected by the tourist board. There are many activities both on the site and around the village.
